The Sykes Lab is focused on hematopoiesis and how the normal pathways of development go awry in the setting of leukemia and other rare hematologic disorders. We have a special interest in rare disorders of myeloid biology (problems of neutrophils and macrophages) and a special interest in solid organ malignancies that infiltrate the bone marrow (e.g., prostate cancer). 

We are located within the Center for Regenerative Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
